SARASOTA MILITARY ACADEMY SPRING FESTIVAL POSTER

In 2017, I volunteered to create a vibrant poster for Sarasota Military Academy’s annual Spring Festival, which included a 5K race, after a friend teaching at the school reached out. The Academy needed a fun, family-friendly design that was eye-catching and easy to print locally. Using Adobe Illustrator, I illustrated tropical flowers, a water bottle, sneakers, a fork and knife, a wine glass, and musical notes to reflect the festival’s diverse events, capturing Florida’s springtime spirit. The brightly colored poster, assembled in Adobe InDesign, displayed festival details and sponsor logos at the bottom. A committee reviewed mockups and selected the final design, ensuring it resonated with the community. I delivered a print-ready file, which the client sent to their local print shop, bringing the event to life for Sarasota families.
